The Pennsylvania squad for the 2019 Big 33 Football Classic wrapped up a weekend of activities in Happy Valley with an afternoon practice at the State College Area High athletic field Sunday. After the morning session was forced to be held indoors at a local hotel due to bad weather, the coaches and players braved wet conditions and temperature in the low 40s to hit the field in the afternoon.
Signees from as host of major-college programs dot the Keystone State roster for the May 27 all-star vs. a team from Maryland. And many of them were on hand for Sunday’s practice.
They included prospects from Penn State (Joey Porter Jr., Daequan Hardy), Wisconsin (Hayden Rucci), Pitt (Will Gipson, Brandon George), North Carolina (Asim Richards), Georgia Tech (Nazir Burnett), Baylor (Yusuf Terry), Rutgers (Aaron Young), Boston College (Patrick Garwo) Temple (Edward Saydee) and East Carolina (Elias Marte).
