Preparations for the 2022 PSFCA Big 33 game have begun. Players have been nominated and coaching staffs have been chosen. This years edition of coaching staffs are no strangers to winning. The teams will be announced at later dates. Team PA will be announced sometime late in February and Team MD will be announced in late March. The 2022 Big 33 game will be played at Bishop McDevitt High School’s Rocco Ortenzio Stadium<\/a> on Monday, May 30 at 2:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

Team PA Head Coach John Franco<\/em><\/p>\n

Head Coach: John Franco – Tyrone:<\/strong> Franco has had an illustrious career coaching high school football. His current record as a head coach is 261-128-2. Most of Franco’s success has come at Tyrone where his record is 203-53. Franco let the Golden Eagles into the state finals three times, winning one championship in 1999 over Mount Carmel. In addition to being the head coach, Franco will be the running backs coach.<\/p>\n

Head Coach: Bill McGregor – DeMatha Catholic:<\/strong> McGregor has a career record of 287-44-3\u00a0 and has won 17 Catholic league championships. In\u00a0The Washington Post\u2019s<\/i> annual football rankings, McGregor-led squads have eight times finished No. 1. Following his first stint with DeMatha, McGregor was an assistant coach at Gilman High in Baltimore in 2011 before becoming an assistant at St. Frances Academy in Baltimore in 2016.<\/p>\n
