The 68th Big 33 Football Classic, steered by the Pennsylvania State Football Coaches Association, is set for 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Cumberland Valley’s Chapman Field. Below are 10 players to watch in the “Super Bowl of High School Football.”

40 players from Pennsylvania high schools are gearing up to go head to head against Maryland for the 68th Football Classic!

Mechanicsburg, Pa. – The PSFCA Big 33, whose Football Classic is presented by Renewal by Andersen of Central PA, is excited to host the popular “Big 33 Buddy Bowling” on Sunday, January 19, starting at noon through 1:30 p.m. at Trindle Bowl in Mechanicsburg, Pa.

Big 33 Executive Director Garry Cathell and Associate Executive Director Nicole Whitmire were recent guests on “Taking Care Of Business With Michael Parks,” on News Radio WHP 580.

The Big 33 Football Classic is known for having a lot of former players making it to the ultimate level of the sport. To honor those that have made it to the National Football League, the high school all-star game has been naming honorary chairmen since the mid-80’s.

A special Big 33 Buddy event included time to dance, eat, and enjoy the company of Big 33 Buddy Families.

The Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association hosted its first Big 33 Buddy Dance as part of its buddy program.
