Pennsylvania challenged the nation and emerged a 6-0 winner as Uniontown’s Sandy Stephens scored the game’s only touchdown at Hershey.

The Big 33er moved 53 yards on 15 running plays in the third quarter. John Chisdak of Scranton, Ike Johnstone of Steelton and Lee Fisher of Williamsport did the running, with Stephens going over from one on a quarterback sneak.

The All-Americans, led by running back Warren Maccaroni and QB Larry Libertore, drove to the Pennsy 15 late in the game. One of the AA linemen was Monte Kiffin, who became coach at North Carolina State.

Pennsylvania got 158 yards rushing, with Stephens, Fisher and Al Gursky as the leaders. The All-Americans had 104 rushing and 14 passing.
