With just over a week to go before the Big 33 weekend we thought we’d let you know the schedule of events at Bishop McDevitt

We are just UNDER a week away from the Big 33 weekend so we thought we’d let you know the schedule of events.

All events listed will be held at Bishop McDevitt Facilities (unless otherwise noted) and are open to the public to attend.

Players, Coaches and Big 33 staff will be made available for media upon request.

Friday, May 27:

12:30-2:30 pm: Players will take to the fields at Bishop McDevitt for their initial “game week” practices. (Team MD and Team PA will rotate between Rocco Ortenzio Stadium and the practice field on the southwest side of the stadium)

3:30-8 pm: Cheerleaders (both Big 33 and East/West Squads) will practice.

3:30-5:30 am: Teams will once again hit the practice fields.

Saturday, May 28:

9:00-11:30 am: Cheerleaders (also East/West Squads 9-11am) will practice.

9:30-11:oo am: PA and MD teams practice

11:30 am-12:30 pm: Cheerleaders – Practice McDevitt HS Turf Field

6:00-7:30 pm: The Big 33 Pep Rally. Please join us for a special night of celebration, games, dance and fun as the Teams, Cheerleaders, Buddies and staff “let loose”! 

Sunday, May 29 (Titan Threadz PSFCA East/West All-Star Gameday!):

9:30-11:30 am:

• Team PA practice  at Susquehanna Township High School (3500 Elmerton Ave, Harrisburg, PA)
• Team MD at Harrisburg High School (2501 Market St, Harrisburg, PA)

9:00-11:00 am: Cheerleaders practice (Practice on Stadium Turf until 10am)

11:30 am: Gates open for the East/West Small School All-Star game

12:10 pm: KICKOFF!

3:00 pm: The PSFCA Hall of Fame Class of 2022 induction ceremony (Bishop McDevitt Auditorium)

5:30 pm: Gates open for the East/West Large School All-Star game

6:30 pm: KICKOFF!

7:00 pm: Join the Big 33 players, Cheerleaders and Buddies for the Big 33 Recognition Night in the Bishop McDevitt Auditorium!

MONDAY, MAY 30!

Monday will be jam packed with events and excitement leading up to the kickoff of the 2o22 Big 33 All-Star Classic!

CANCELLED: 9:00 am- 11:00 am: The United States Marine corp presents a “Murph Competition” (visit https://themurphchallenge.com/  for more information on what this event is all about.)

10:30 am: The Fan Experience and Veterans Appreciation Day Begins (location of fan experience is in between the High School and Rocco Ortenzio Stadium)

The FREE fan Experience sponsored by Penn State Health/Highmark will include:

• Live DJ
• inflatable rides by 3 Monkeys
• 10am Youth Football Clinic
• food trucks
• and MUCH MORE!

12:30 pm: Gates will open for the 2022 Big 33 Classic!

2:10 PM: Kickoff for the 65th Annual Big 33 Classic!
