2023 BIG 33 PA CAPITOL CELEBRATION WITH FOOTBALL ALL-STARS FROM ACROSS THE STATE
WHAT: Pennsylvania’s 38-member Big 33 team for the 66th Football Classic will be honored by state lawmakers, along with this year’s cheerleaders and buddies at the PA State Capitol in Harrisburg.

Under the leadership of the Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association, the Dauphin County Commissioners and Commonwealth of PA are partnering to support the PSFCA Big 33 Football Classic. The game has also been described as the “Super Bowl of High School Football” and has chosen a team every year since 1957. Every NFL Super Bowl has featured at least one Big 33 Alum!
“We are thrilled to celebrate this year’s extraordinary student athletes, cheerleaders and buddies at the State Capitol with their state lawmakers and other special guests. It’s a huge honor for these talented youth from across the state to participate in the Big 33 Program. We are grateful we can recognize them at this special PA Capitol Celebration for all of their outstanding achievements,” said Garry Cathell, executive director of the PSFCA and the Big 33 Football Classic.

The Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association’s (PSFCA) 66th Big 33 Football Classic will be played on Sunday, May 28 at Bishop McDevitt’s Rocco Ortenzio Stadium in Dauphin County. Kickoff is 7 p.m.
