An alum from the Big 33 Football Classic has participated in every Super Bowl and that streak will continue this year when the Kansas City Chiefs play the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11.
Brett Veach, general manager of the Chiefs, is an alum of the 1997 Big 33 game and 49ers defensive end Kevin Givens played in the 2015 contest.
Herb Adderley played in the first Big 33 game in 1957 and the defensive back played for the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl 1. Since then a Big 33 alum has been a part of ever Super Bowl. Fifty-eight straight games.
The Big 33 game over the years featured Pennsylvania high school stars vs. a national team, Texas all-stars, Ohio all-Stars and this year will be the 11th game against Maryland all-stars.
